Hepp-Schwamborn at the SmartCity-Summit Niederrhein

 

 

November 25th, 2021: For the first time, the "SmartCity-Summit Niederrhein" was hosted last Thursday in the premises of the former Karstadt building in Rheydt. The event, organized by the city of Mönchengladbach, Wirtschaftsförderung Mönchengladbach (WFMG) and NEW AG, was intended to illustrate the possibilities of the "city of tomorrow" to more than 200 visitors.

 

As a Smart City model community, the city of Mönchengladbach wants to see current challenges such as climate change and the pandemic as an opportunity to reduce bureaucracy and to digitalize and simplify communication, mobility and social participation (for example in citizens' decisions).

Hepp-Schwamborn was one of the exhibitors on site and presented the company's own E-Smart as well as various charging solutions for electric vehicles to the visitors (picture from left to right: Kuno Schwamborn, Managing Director Hepp-Schwamborn, Felix Heinrichs, Lord Mayor of the City of Mönchengladbach and David Bongartz, authorized signatory of the Wirtschaftsförderung Mönchengladbach).
