New all-terrain vehicles for Rheinbraun

 

 

September 2021: In addition to the existing truck and a Sprinter, a new SUV, all equipped with all-wheel drive, is now being used specifically for work at Rheinbraun in the Garzweiler open pit mine. The vehicles need this to be able to reliably negotiate rough terrain and to withstand the recent increase in precipitation, which also continuously affects pumping operations.

One of the many equipment highlights of the new all-wheel drive SUV is, for example, the extendable loading floor (see second picture), which can be loaded with up to 250 kg and allows the employees much easier access to the sometimes very heavy material or tools.
