August 2020: As reported in the summer issue of the customer magazine "Autovisionen" by Mercedes-Benz-Herbrand (to be found at www.herbrand.de/autovisionen), their newest commercial vehicle competence center was built in Krefeld-Fichtenhain in February of this year after 22 months of construction.

Hepp-Schwamborn was responsible for all electrotechnical installations on the building project, which extends over 50,000 m²; from power supply, interior and exterior lighting in LED technology, general electrical installations with KNX, distribution boards, workshop installation, media technology, data and network technology in copper and fibre optic cable, to safety lighting, cabling and the fire alarm system, all work was carried out to the customer's utmost satisfaction.

The Commercial Vehicle Competence Centre primarily serves to centralise the Mönchengladbach and Krefeld locations and offers state-of-the-art workshop equipment with an exhibition area for 120 used vehicles, a van and truck rental base, parking spaces for 176 vans and 62 trucks with spacious parking, run-out and manoeuvring areas, a car wash for vans and transporters and even specially equipped accommodation for truck drivers in case a repair should take a little longer.

We congratulate Mercedes-Benz-Herbrand on the completion of this state-of-the-art location for Mercedes-Benz vans and truck workshop services and thank them for their trustful cooperation on this ambitious project.
